We have new studio dates scheduled for next week! We’ll finish the title track of our record “Happiness Through Radio’s And Wires” and hopefully finish the song “Gracie”. D.James Goodwin took a break to work on the Norah Jones record which is super awesome for him and he should be finished up in time for the sessions…however FUCKING HANSON swooped in and took up a chunk of time at the studio. So we’ll have to work around that…..
Did a little tracking by our friend Nicky’s this weekend down in Asbury Park. I was happy to see the boardwalk still coming back a bit, we took a break, ate some clams then got back to work. Working on a new song called Gracie…we took a few pic’s as well.
We posted the final mix of “My Dear” on our myspace! Dan did an amazing job on the mix and this puts us about halfway through the record. We are doing this record on our own dime so the process had been slow going. The good news is we should have a label putting it out soon. The waiting and back and forth stuff has been overwhelming. Jonathan almost came to blows with an executive at a label I won’t mention when the ass wipe suggested he wear 80’s hair band clothes and make-up. I don’t know why it got him so upset but it pushed things back a bit. Needless to say that guy got fired for whatever reason anyway…the instability at labels has been pretty rough…ALSO I’m making a movie with a friend this year, pre production has been going real well and I expect it to be done for 2010. We’ll keep you posted on more soon!

Back at it. I had a chance to finish up the song “My Dear” with Dan and the results were stunning…I think it’s one of his finest mixes, can’t wait to share it with everyone.

We’ve been way busy…I just now emerged from my basement where we’re doing some demo’s and practicing. Cheech is on fucking fire. Things got weird, we started doing songs that were basically country…then we stopped. then we started. then we stopped.
2 things. For starters i hate that asshole that does those commercials with a head set on for fucking shammies. Second, i can’t even believe they sell “snuggies” a blanket with sleeves…i want one.
To answer sarah’s questions..the demonstration was in NY and i couldn’t make it which SUCKS. I’ve managed to buy two hats which are pretty sweet but I’m finding the search difficult. I wont wear baseball hats, just not me…also if anyone else wants to ask questions feel free to contact us on myspace even though we hardly check it, it will find us.
It should snow tonight which will force me to sit in front of my computer and record even more SHIT…I think I did a Sleep Station record last week, it was demo’s but I think I’ll keep half of them…fuck it.
Also Batman sucked so screw everyone…saw the wrestler and it was a classic tragedy, great movie
